Set of 4 different sizes in a neat batik cloth covered box. These are exactly what are used in Java to apply the wax when making hand made batik cloth. Very cool handmade tools! Please note that the box design may vary.
Warning These are not sturdy bullet proof tools. They may need to be messed with - bent, squeezed, fixed. Buy them only with that understanding.

These are the only tools I use. I have the other tjantings too but I find them much harder to use.These are easy to blow on in case the tips get clogged and deliver a really steady stream of wax. Yes - they do need a bit of tweaking but after that they simply outshine the other tjantings.

I love t.hat each one in this set is different! One tool actually has two spouts for wax to flow through. I'm looking forward to sharing these with my students at the watercolor batik workshops that I teach.

These are decent tools. They do leak because under the oil basin there is a "bed" that collects wax and leads to dripping. I do like the way they work after I gat all access wax off. Biggest down fall is that they are so short they are constantly falling into my wax which is very frustrating.

They are 'scratchier' than the other tjantings I have bought but have been good for me as a beginner. I have since ordered the 'better tjantings' and the other ones on here but I am glad I have these.

Not up to Dharma's excellent standards. Pretty crummy product. My students are not happy buying these tools. Buy them individually.

This was my first time working with tjanting tools. I was skeptical but found these to work exactly as described and as I had envisioned. Very inexpensive and work well.
