Fabric Details
- 55% linen and 45% rayon
- 5.6 oz per square yard, 52" wide
- Thread count is 44 threads per inch x 38 threads per inch
- You can dye this with our Fiber Reactive Dyes
- Suggested usage; lightweight jackets, pants, shirts, window draperies, theater costuming for items needing a linen look, etc.
- We found that this shrinks 8% in Length and 6% in Width disclaimer
- The fabric is super soft
- Available in cut yardage and in 30 yard bags
- Machine wash in any temperature water, but as with all Rayons and Rayon blends, use a GENTLE cycle!!!

If I could give this six stars I would. If you've ever used the essex linen this has a similar look slightly thinner and even softer with more drape.

This product had some sort of sizing on it that was difficult to launder out. I needed the cloth to be very absorbant which both linen and rayonshould naturally be. I had to launder this with harsh soap and hot water three times to get the sizing out.

Really like the texture of the linen when it comes out of the dryer - an all-over soft ripple very attractive. Wonderful weight for shirtspants.

This fabric is different than the linenrayon I've purchased from Dharma before. Previous fabric was more muslin colored and much softer. Prior to washing it has a waxy feel to it and feels quite rough and stiff even after it's washed and dried. It feels more like linencotton rather than linen rayon. It dyes well but I won't be buying more. I have to figure out how to use the bolt I have.

Gorgeous! Has the nice texture of linen and takes dye like rayon. I used this for a groom's vest and it was beautiful. Although it was a challenge to match dyes with the bride since her's was all rayon (rayon twill was out of stock). In the end worth the effort.

it's not as soft as you'd expect it to be even after washes. The current linenrayon blend is very very similar to the essex linencotton I almost can't even tell them apart. The rayon is a very slightly looser weave while the cotton is slightly more linty but otherwise they are almost the same texture and feel.

I ordered 11 yards to make a summer wardrobe. I really like this fabric! It softens with washing and has linen type rumples but not the deep creases linen fabric can develop with wear. It is very easy to work with and presses well. It is slightly sheer in bright sunshine but I am able to wear the dress I made. I did dye one shirt with avocado pits and even the light pink decreased how sheer it is. Love this fabric!

This is a perfect heavier weight fabric for machine embroidery. It has more heft than quilting cotton and makes beautiful wall hangings and table runners.

Very nice fabric if a bit heavier than expected after washing. I was however pleasantly surprised at how well it maintained its body. Too often rayon and rayon blends go limp after loosing their sizing and this did not. It is in short well-suited to the purpose intended.

Wow! Got my order super fast. This linenrayon is a really nice weight. Smooth finish even threads. I really like the feel of this fabric. It feels better than the way more expensive linenrayon blend I have bought from other fabric dealers. I can't wait to dye this. It is going to be beautiful little boutique pants and tops for little girls! Would definitely order this fabric again.
