Styled like our tank strap Play Dress, but the Hankie Hem Play Dress has wide swing out sides that make up a fantastic asymmetric 4 point hem. Nicely shaped flattering scooped neckline. Turned and stitched hems throughout and sewn with cotton thread for perfect dyeing.

I really love this dress. It is more stylish than some of the Dharma knit dresses I have bought and dyed. It's not exactly what I'd call a hankie hem although the hemline is irregular. It's a lagenlook cut where the sides are a rectangular shape as you can see when you lay it out flat. This dress can be worn over a T-shirt or blouse if the weather is a bit cool for a sleeveless outfit. That said I am hoping Dharma makes a sleeved version for fall.

The regular play dress has been my best seller for about 30 years so I had to check out this new style and I LOVE IT! Painted one for myself and know that there will be many more to come same great fit as the play dress and I love the fun elliptical hem. Good job Dharma! Now we just need a great midi or knee length dress with pockets and all would be right with the world.

Really flattering style! Fun to wear great to dye. Runs a little big for me - I had to go down 2 sizes (XL to M).

Used with an ice dyeing project and love the end result. The fabric this dress is made out of is substantial and takes color vividly. I am 54 and found this comes to mid-calf length on me.
